SANDY MOUL - Founder and President
Sandy Moul is the founder and president of Emblem Communications. She has been a communications practitioner for over 20 years, working with organizations in a wide range of industries including security and defense, high technology, nonprofit, consumer products, software, law enforcement, arts and entertainment, and more.
Prior to founding Emblem Communications in 2006, Sandy worked for some of the world’s largest global public relations agencies, including Burson-Marsteller, Ruder-Finn, and the Lee Solters Company. During her five-year tenure as vice president of the Orange County-based PR firm of K-COMM, Inc., she led the Security and High Technology division and was a two-time recipient of the Public Relations Society of America’s prestigious PROTOS Award.
Sandy is the President Emeritus of InfraGard San Diego, a FBI-affiliated nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting U.S. critical infrastructure and the American people. During her six years of service to the FBI's largest public/private partnership from 2015-2021, she led the fourth largest InfraGard chapter in the country, producing hundreds of training and education programs to strengthen regional safety and security.
For her work with InfraGard, FBI Director Christopher Wray presented Sandy with the 2018 Director's Community Leadership Award during a ceremony in Washington, DC. This award honors individuals for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs and violence in America.
Sandy has been a speaker at events including the Wall Street Journal Cybersecurity Symposium, FBI Women Behind the Badge, InfraGard National Congress and Conference, and more. Since 2012, Sandy has also served on the board of directors for Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, a nonprofit organization that provides support services and transitional housing to the ill and injured servicemen and women of the United States military.
